Promotes Fitness and Outdoor Mental Health. Does Hanging Clothes Outdoors Do That?

Now I won’t go so far as to say hanging clothes on a clothesline is “wild delight’ but I will say there is something good about it. It promotes physical and mental health and this is how I think it does that;

Physically by; carrying a moderate weight to and from the clothesline to the house, extending your arms to hang clothes on the line, using your fingers to put the clothes on the line and using a clamping device (clothespins), also absorbing the sun’s rays provides vitamin D.

Mentally by; Listening to animals and birds, feeling the breeze, in other words enjoying the weather, smelling the scents on the wind, maybe seeing other people working, resting or exercising, or possibly seeing children playing, it’s hard for me to describe, but there is a “feel” when you are outdoors in Nature that is calming – pleasant - relaxing - whatever you want to call it. Doctors can probably tell you more I just think it makes me feel better. When you add this “Feel” with accomplishing something useful like clothes drying, it’s even better.
